This Super Bowl is predictable. The Patriots will win, and I've never liked them ever since their Super Bowl XXXVI victory. I'm going on to say this game's final score will be:

Giants - 21
Patriots - 29

Watch then Brady's "injury" take a toll on him and he'll be unable to play next season. Giants will then come back next year, but not make it through the playoffs. I watched football to see a good game, but lately, some commercials actually do better.

Actually that was a great defensive game that had a strong, exciting finish when the underdog team comes from behind to win it on their final drive.

GJ Giants, they did what all the other teams couldn't do. Maybe next season will be the Pats' year.

However, this game did leave me with one question: how many of the '72 Phins had to scramble and buy some champaign to pop? It's weird. The most dominate team of the past 35 years on both sides of the ball comes up one short of history. Just goes to show how difficult having a perfect record in football is. Are the Pats going to pull it off next year without Spygate looming over their heads or is it going to be another 35 before someone else can step up to the plate?

I really don't know. They've been to 4 SBs and have won three of them. They are one of the true dynasties of the game. But now they are the team that almost was. They aren't the team that joined the ranks of perfection, they are the team that choked in their last game on the journey. This year, the pats became the other guys and join a handful of others that went perfect up until the big game and then blew it and the first team in 60+ years to do that.

I think that this is the beginning of the decline of the Pat's dynasty. Next year they might not even make the playoffs. I think now is the time to look and enjoy what little time they have left as a team and start looking for the next dynasty to step forth. Perhaps it'll be one of the Mannings at the helm.

Offense gets you there, defense gets you through the post season... However the pats were the #1 offense (which is an honor that hasn't won a SB in years) and the #4 defense.

IMO being the hot team is what gets you to win championships. The first meeting where the Giants played the Pats hard in a close loss was a real confidence builder for them. That hard play fired them up to win it all.

The 4th quarter was a very exciting quarter. The Pats just fell apart and Eli and the offense really stepped up. I especially loved the play where there were about 5-6 guys tackling Eli and he ran out and completed the pass for a first down. The rest of the game before that was kinda slow though.

And now my prediction for next year: Packers and Colts or Chargers
